Just 10 short days ago our brother, Keith Allen Tapken, passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack. He was 51 years old. He was one year younger than my husband. Gone too soon...there is no making sense of it. I am glad and honored to have known him and to be called sister in-law by him. Who will I talk cooking with now? :) Keith will be remembered with smiles and love and he will be missed around all our tables.

He'll certainly be remembered! I wish there were answers or reasons for the way things have been in the last year or so, but I know there are none. I guess we can all take solace in knowing that we knew we all loved each other, and we spent quality time together, even though that doesn't change anything. There isn't a day goes by that I don't think about the people near and dear to us that have left this world.
